As a child, Abhijit Bhaumik aspired to be a doctor and serve humankind. His determination grew manifold when he lost his mother as a teenager. She suffered from Cancer.
Abhijit completed his Bachelor's degree in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (B.H.M.S) from Calcutta University. After receiving the medical degree and a practitioner’s registration, he joined Dr Prasanta Banerji Homoeopathic Research Foundation (Home of the Banerji Protocols) as an associate doctor in 2010. He worked with and received guidance from the world-famous homoeopaths Late Dr Prasanta Banerji and Late Dr Pratip Banerji for several years. In the same year, he also opened his first clinic in South Kolkata.
Dr Abhijit Bhaumik set up a clinic in Siliguri in 2017. A third clinic was started in Baharampur in 2022. He also offers online consultations. Dr Bhaumik is consulted by patients with Cancer and other critical illnesses not only from different corners of the country but also from Dubai, the USA, the UK, Canada, Singapore, different parts of Europe, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.
